Brianna   Dear M, At least you have normal sized wrists. I am everything that you described. Female, 5'8 or 5'9, size 10 shoes, large palms, long fingers, my collar bones stick out, and I have wide hips, and bony ankles. The only difference is my wrists are 6" in circumference, making my body "small framed." Now my ideal weight is 129-142, which is an issue because at my smallest, I was 145, and I was considered "skinny" because of my shape. So I don't think the wrist is the best way to determine body frame. Try elbow width. That might give you better results. - 10/15/2011 2:35:02 PM

M   I'm female, 26 years old, 5'8"-5'9" depending on the day. I wear size 10 in womens shoes, have large palms and very long fingers, and my wrist is a bit past 6.5". Because of my long fingers, my middle and thumb overlap quite a bit around my wrist (small frame) but the circumference of my wrist shows med-large frame. This is a bit confusing but I believe myself to be "big boned" due to big feet and hands, wide hips, and looking "bony" (collar bone sticks out, ribs stick out, wrists are bony, very bony ankles) even when overweight. - 9/21/2011 2:07:30 PM

R.M.   Mine came up "undefined." Apparently the calculator doesn't believe that men under 5'6" exist. My stats came up as small frame when entered as female, so I guess I can't possibly be anything else, though the given ideal weight isn't quite accurate. - 2/8/2009 9:42:32 AM
